 As part of our mission we are bringing elements of the wind band, in this case the hit brass and percussion group FORZA, to West Oaks Mall for a free performance. This performance will feature music from jazz, funk, pop and holiday tunes. What better way to get in the spirit of the holidays than to spend some time with this fantastic group of musicians. The concert is this Saturday, December 16th in the food court at West Oaks Mall. The performance will be from noon-1pm. We hope to see you there!
 Music To My Mind is proud to welcome the hit brass and percussion group - Forza, to our organization. Forza will serve as the premier musical ambassador group for the organization. This announcement is late in coming as Forza has already been working with us over the past year serving as the musical face of the organization. Through their assistance we have been able to bring music of the wind band to several local charities and nonprofits as well as bringing exposure of our mission to several corporate and private organizations. Please remember that every donation counts no matter how much. Your donations allow us to help educators provide for their students by helping them with continuing training and professional development and students to grow by helping them to experience education that might not be offered during the regular school day. Once a year most local police departments sponsor a "National Night Out." This is a family - friendly event in which families can come and interact with the police department by learning about various police programs and getting to know the people who protect us every day. The even has many community sponsors who will be there with activities set up for kids to enjoy as well. Please come see us and learn more about what we are doing in the community. Our tent will be set up right next to Kid City USA - Lake Mary. The event is Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5:30-8:30pm at Lake Mary Central Park. The address for the park is 100 N. Congratulations to our Founder and Executive Director, Frank Taylor, for being appointed Vice Chairman to the Digital Arts and Recording Department at Orange Technical College. The advisory board reviews curriculum, program development and makes recommendations on how to strengthen the program. Mr. Taylor will work directly with teachers and students, bringing his vast knowledge of music, the music industry and the recording industry, to ensure that these students are ready to enter the digital arts and recording workforce.
