The Value of Education

Most people take for granted the benefits that accrue to children that receive a good education. Less poverty, better overall health, better able to communicate, more productive, better critical thinking skills, greater sense of discipline, better job placement and more job employment overall, more equality in their society, less crime, less gender-based violence, less maternal death rates and greater civic involvement are all benefits of education.  In fact we find that the more education someone gets, the more those benefits accrue. We, here at Music to My Mind, believe that childhood instruction coupled with frequent music exposure through learning an instrument or performing helps expand that child's educational experience.  Below is some information on early childhood development and how critical it is to the child's complete education experience.
