Musical Service Programs:
As our mission states, we are going to continue to promote and expose literature of the wind band. Now there are various incarnations of the wind band setups all the way from the symphonic band to jazz bands and chamber ensembles. But all represent membership in the wind band category.
In addition to promoting and exposing the literature of the wind band we also provide the opportunity for all musical artists to meet with professionals within the music industry.

Music Industry:
One of the hardest parts of being a solo artist, band, singer/songwriter, aspiring producer or engineer, is learning how to take their talent to the next level. We help to bridge that gap. With our established roster of music industry professionals, we will set up meet and greet sessions that can possibly turn into studio time, mentorships and more. We will also be hosting various seminars and conferences on marketing yourself as a musician, learning the art of music business as well as mentorship programs.
Orlando Wind Symphony:
The Orlando Wind Symphony is a professional wind ensemble made up of the finest musicians in the area. This ensemble performs literature composed for the wind band as well as music written for orchestra that has been transcribed for the wind band. As this is a wind ensemble there is generally only one person per part. This ensemble will put together a concert over the span of 3 rehearsals. Entry into this ensemble is by audition only.
Orlando Symphonic Winds:
The Orlando Symphonic Winds is a community based symphonic band comprised of band directors, local professionals and community members. This ensemble will perform wind band literature and orchestral transcriptions ranging from a medium to advanced level of difficulty. This ensemble will rehearse weekly at a designated location for approximately 2-3 hours. There is a yearly membership fee for participation in this group of $150. Auditions are held only for seat placement within the section. The season for this ensemble will run from August to June.
Orlando Youth Wind Symphony:
The Orlando Youth Wind Symphony is a high school based, student level ensemble. This ensemble will perform literature at the medium to advanced level. At this time, this ensemble is open to all high school students and auditions will be for seat placement within the section. The yearly membership fee to participate in this ensemble is $150. This ensemble will run congruently with the academic school year (approx. August - June).
Orlando Youth Symphonic Winds:
The Orlando Youth Symphonic Winds is a middle school based, student level ensemble. This ensemble will perform literature at the medium to medium advanced level. At this time, this ensemble is open to all middle school students and auditions will be for seat placement within the section. The yearly membership fee to participate in this ensemble is $150. This ensemble will run congruently with the academic school year (approx. August - June).
Music To My Mind Chamber Ensembles:
We will also form several chamber ensembles who will perform throughout the community in an effort to bring exposure to the various sub groups of the wind band.
